Risk assessments are a vital aspect of putting machinery into service and need to be carried out when machines are designed, manufactured, put into service and modified. The Essential Health and Safety Requirements (EHSRs) of the Machinery Directive contain the legal requirements that machinery must meet, but they can be difficult to apply.
This course explains the role of standards in the risk assessment process, to enable designers and project managers to carry out the risk assessment in the most efficient way. The course will use practical examples to help delegates carry out the risk assessments on their own products
