Conformance is a leading independent technical consultancy business specialising in regulatory compliance and product safety. We’ve been trading since 1993 and in that time we’ve developed a solid customer base of blue-chip clients across a wide range of industry sectors.

Our engineering team is supported by a closely integrated administration team covering sales and marketing, accounting, customer relations, quality control and facilities.

The business is family owned and employs about 20 people. We are based in Great Hucklow, in the heart of the Peak District National Park in a converted, grade-II listed, Methodist chapel. Our beautiful natural surroundings provide opportunities to cycle to work and for lunch-time exercise. We understand that work - life balance is an important element of all our lives, so encourage staff to use flexible working opportunities.
The directors and many of the staff live locally but several staff live some distance away and use our excellent internet links to work from home. Clearly, in recent times travel has been restricted but like a lot of businesses we have successfully moved to video conferencing as an alternative to face-to-face meetings. While remote working will remain central to our operations in the future, when things get back to normal the work requires occasional national or international travel.

Cyber Security Associate
About the Role
Conformance are looking for a Cyber Security Associate to join our growing cybersecurity and compliance consultancy team. You will work with manufacturers, technology companies and product developers to help them demonstrate compliance with emerging product cybersecurity legislation and international standards. Working alongside other CE /UKCA marking consultants and technical specialists, you will contribute to assessments covering a broad range of connected products and industrial systems.
