Directive 1999/36/EC on transportable pressure equipment requires the use of a special logo to indicate compliance. The Directive is concerned with pressure containers which are used for the transportation of pressurised substances. It applies independently of the Pressure Equipment Directive. Vessels which are transported by road, rail, sea or air must be Pi-marked. They can also be CE marked under the Pressure Equipment Directive if they are within the scope of the PED due to other uses.

Artwork for the logo is available to download from the links below in a number of file formats. You will need a program which can expand Stuffit archives (Macintosh) or Zip files
